We recently installed a new gravel acreage approach (access to the property from the main road) on our client’s rural property.

Gravel is a good choice for an approach (+/or driveway) as it’s long-lasting, absorbs and sheds water efficiently, prevents excess gravel loss, potholes and other problems. On this project there was also a ditch that had to be considered. As with the approach, we designed it to allow for efficient water flow, erosion prevention, gravel loss, and any other problems that may arise.

The images below highlight our attention to detail and quality of workmanship. The approach to this acreage was clay mixed with larger rocks about three inches or so then 3/4 crush over top.
