Property erosion leading to improper grading can be caused by leaking eaves that promote soil erosion, weather conditions such as heavy winds and rain or for it just not having been done correctly in the first place.

Proper regrading should be handled by an expert to make sure that soil does not come in contact with siding or any wood they may surround the house. There should be a minimum of four inches of your foundation (concrete, block, or stone) showing above the soil.
